Nicole, grade 2, speeds up mental calculation quite a lot since she starts playing 24 Game. She also begins to play simple geometry with straightedge and compass.

Her first geometry achievement is an isosceles triangle. This is the first time she understands that compass is not just for drawing circles, but can be used to measure lengths. When being asked to make an equilateral triangle in the first place, she says: “can I do isosceles first?” Why not?

Confident now, she goes on conquers her first equilateral triangle.

Her next challenge is angle bisector and she conquers it just one day later.
